1. What attracted you to skydiving?
Bob: I always knew I wanted to be involved in aviation… and flying lessons were very expensive, so I looked at the next option… skydiving! It was a good decision!
2. What influenced you to actually make the phone call?
Bob: I really wanted to make a skydive, but many of my friends kept saying they would but no one was ever taking any action. Tired of waiting, I finally made the phone call to find out where I needed to go.
3. What’s your most memorable skydive?
Bob: Taking my co-worker for a jump after having surgery. She is the best back seat driver!
4. What’s your favorite place you’ve skydived?
Bob: Right Here! I never get tired of the view, it looks like a post card in paradise. I’m truly fortunate to call this drop zone my home and to share the views with our tandem guests every week!
5. What other interests do you have outside of skydiving?
Bob: I really enjoy photography, traveling, working on antique cars, sailing, fishing, and just about anything that goes up!
6. What do you like most about skydiving?
All of it, not just any one part of it. Skydiving is so much more than just jumping out of airplanes. It’s about building close friendships and sharing in the joy of free fall. Also, I really enjoy meeting new and interesting people from around the state, country or even the world!
7. What do you like least about the sport?
Bob: -Skygods……which is a term skydivers use for others who think their ‘hot shots’ and are incapable of being open to advice or listening to anyone else because they already “know all there is to know.”
8. What is something that few people know about you?
Bob: I don’t like needles!
9. What do you do for work?
Bob: When I’m not jumping, I specialized in heating / air conditioning systems. I enjoy it, but it’s not quite as fun as jumping from airplanes!
10. If you could do anything as an occupation, what would it be?
Bob: Without hesitation, I’d be a fighter pilot.
11. Lastly, what are your future goals?
Bob: To reach and exceed 5,000 jumps in my logbook! I hope to get there!
