Accelerated Freefall
Skydive Coastal Carolinas offers a student skydiving program called Accelerated Freefall, or AFF, which follows a prescribed curriculum issued by the USPA (United States Parachute Association).
Composed of ground school and supervised freefall and canopy flight instruction, AFF students matriculate through course categories A through E. By program completion, students are equipped with the knowledge and skills to confidently jump solo
AFF Progression
The AFF program is designed to allow students to progress at their own pace.
Some students start and finish AFF training in a matter of weeks, others complete the program over several months. As long as you make at least one jump every 30 days, you’re considered current by the USPA.
Of course, jumping more frequently accelerates your overall proficiency and bolsters skills mastery.
