When you were a kid, were there any early activities that might indicate you’d one day become a skydiver?
Just the usual ones… my dad was a skydiver and a pilot. Growing up around dropzones and airplanes helps out :)
What was the circumstance that led you to the DZ for the first time to make your very first skydive?
I had seen other people’s videos prior to my first jump and even packed 100s of parachutes for other skydivers before making my own jump but growing up around the skydiving industry really made me eager to jump. Yes, I had to wait till I was 18 to make my first jump.
What made you want to continue skydiving after your first jump?
After I made my first jump I wanted to continue jumping because the thrill of the jump was contagious. Before I made my first jump I saw other people’s excitement when they landed and it wasn’t until I jumped that I saw how awesome it really is.
What’s the best / most memorable skydive you’ve ever made?
On a friend’s 500th jump we did a helicopter jump over the ocean. Even though it was from 5,000ft it was a great jump with awesome people.
If you could jump with anyone in the world, who would you like to jump with and why?
Bodhi from Point Break because he lives life to the fullest and we can all learn from him!
